The grounds of the housing group are sloped to the north. They provide lovely panoramic views of the Kníničky reservoir basin. The fronts of both parallel designed streets consist of a group of five terraced residential buildings. The floor scheme for each block with a flat roof consists of two full floors and a third partial one. Part of the surface forms a roof garden for each of the flats. This design provides a marked height plasticity in the form of a denticule which provides the construction project with an appropriate smaller scale and vivacity. The building does not consequently make up a monotonous longitudinal volume when seen from a distance from the reservoir across the slope. The height plasticity is supplemented by the plasticity of the facades. These have a pronounced modelled system of residential loggias in a chessboard arrangement which form along with the denticule the silhouette of a marked architectural motif and at the same time the smaller scale enhancing the residential character of the structures. One format of French windows is used on the facades. The modest height of the buildings, their directly lit single flights of stairs, the feature of outdoor residential terraces and loggias and finally the marked plasticity of the structure are all means which contribute to the creation of quality housing on the edge of the city and the suburban countryside.
